Jean Hughes
, 81, of Nacogdoches, formerly of Shelby County, passed away Friday, December 26, 2014 in Nacogdoches.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 29, 2014 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with Bro. Don Windham officiating. Interment will follow at Sardis Cemetery in Center. A visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 12:00 noon.
Ms. Hughes was born September 17, 1933 in Henderson to Marion T. Sullivan and Clara Hunt Sullivan. Her hobbies included camping, traveling to new places, working puzzles, fishing and cooking. Ms. Hughes loved animals and especially enjoyed time spent with her family. She was of the Baptist faith.
