JE Belrose , 79, of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021, in Shelbyville.

Graveside service was held at Sardis Cemetery in Center.

Born July 16, 1941, in the Sardis Community of Shelby County, JE is the son of Lloyd C "LC" Belrose and Cecil Willoughby Belrose. He enjoyed spending time with family, being active in church, riding horses, and tending to his cattle. JE was a member of Sardis Pentecostal Church in Shelby County.

He is survived by his son, Keith Belrose and wife Annette of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Kristi and Michael Stringer of Sardis, Justin and Jessica Belrose of Center, and Hanna and Bryon Jacobs of Shelbyville; great grandchildren, Mikey, Chace, and Case Stringer of Center, Anna Claire, Sadie Mae, and Ella Jane Belrose of Center, Westin Cain Long of Shelbyville; brother, Roe Belrose of Joaquin; special sister-in-law, Zannie Gay Belrose of Sardis; a host of family and friends.

Preceded in death by his wife, Janet Leehin Cain Belrose; son, Carlton Lee Belrose; mother, Cecil Willoughby Belrose; father, Lloyd "LC" Belrose; sisters, Lessie Lorene Belrose and Hersey Belrose Porter; and brother, Ray Belrose.

Pallbearers will be Justin Belrose, Michael Stringer, Bryon Jacobs, Mikey Stringer, Chace Stringer, Cace Stringer, and Westin Cain Long.
