J.C. Oliver, 71, of Center, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2009. He was born March 18, 1937 in Center to Eliza Oliver and Ruby Eaves Oliver. J.C. was a member of Spann's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Monday, January 19 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, January 20 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Rev. Johnny Lewis and Rev. Ricky Vestal officiating. Interment will follow at Spann's Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Rickey Rhodes, Brian Hooper, Jeremy Oliver, Dab Brittain, Ben Brittain, Danny Lovell, Chuck Suire, and Thomas Oliver.
