Jan Akridge , 68, of Center, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021, in Nacogdoches.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with visitation beginning at Noon.  Interment will follow at Mt. Herman Cemetery in Shelby County.

Born May 30, 1953, Jan is the daughter of John Marlin Adams and Johnnie Francis Crocker Adams.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Akridge of Center; children, Tara Jordan and Brandon of Center, Chad Akridge and Leslie of Center, and J.C. Akridge and Amanda of Center; grandchildren, Jake Jordan and Sarah, Kolby and Kamryn Jordan, Kason Jordan, Bo Jordan, Austin and Shelby Akridge, Isabella Akridge, Raylee Akridge, Lauren Akridge, Wyatt Akridge, and Jaidyn Akridge; great grandson, Easton Lee Akridge; brother, John Adams and Mary Kay of Nederland; also, numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by parents, John Marlin Adams and Johnnie Francis Crocker Adams; sisters, Kathryn Vaughn and Barbara Miller; brothers-in-law, Darrel Vaughn and Carl Miller.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons Jake Jordan, Kolby Jordan, Kason Jordan, Bo Jordan, Austin Akridge, and Wyatt Akridge.
