James Rogers Yarborough , 75, of Center, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021, in Longview.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 15, 2021, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.  Per his wishes, he will be cremated.

Born October 9, 1945, in Center, Rogers is the son of William Alexander Yarborough and T9C Prince Yarborough.  He worked as a crane operator for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad for 35 years.  His hobbies included tinkering with lawnmowers and spending time with his grandchildren.  Rogers was a member of Sam Samford Masonic Lodge #149 and First Baptist Church in Center.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sandra Yarborough of Center; daughters, Vanessa Caudle and husband Terry of Carthage, Denise McCauley of Dallas, and Feather Andrusick and husband David of Center; grandchildren, Jeff Massey and Ryli, Kindle Parrish and Will, Jack Massey and Katie, Holden Massey, Jessye Massey, Chris Massey, Devin McCauley, Autum Andrusick, and Aubre Andrusick; six great grandchildren; sister, Retha Mize of Tenaha; brothers, Drennon Yarborough and wife Betty of Arizona and Joe Yarborough and wife Jackie of Center; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Ann Yarborough, Gayle and Emmett Harvey, and Billy Ballard; also, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Preceded in death by parents, William Alexander Yarborough and T9C Prince Yarborough; brothers, Waymon, Pug, Charles, Alvin, and Billy; sisters-in-law, Virginia Yarborough, Lenora Yarborough, Peggy Yarborough, and Debbie Ballard; brothers-in-law, James Mize and Ronnie Ballard; and father-in-law, Billy Ballard.
