James C. "J.C." Windham , 45, of Joaquin, passed away Monday, April 1, 2019, in Joaquin.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 5, 2019, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center. Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at noon.

Mr. Windham was born February 23, 1974, in Tucson, Arizona, to James E. Windham and Linda Bright Windham. He worked as an engineer on a crew boat and enjoyed fishing as a hobby.

He is survived by his parents, James E. Windham and Linda Bright Windham; uncle, Jewell Bright Jr.; cousins, Kristen Bright, Chandler Bright, Brent Bright, George Alvin Windham Jr., Kathryn Boehm and husband Leonard, Gladys and Ricky Andrews; numerous cousins.

Preceded in death by grandparents, Marie Chandler Bright Fults and Jewell Bright Sr., George Anthony "Pete" Windham and Syble Emmons Windham Irish; uncles, William "Ike" Bright, George A. Windham Sr.; aunt, Louise Windham Bailey.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Walton, Terry Walton, Shawn Lonergan, Leonard Boehm, and George Windham Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be William "BJ" Bright, Frank Bright, Brent Bright, and Chandler Bright.
