James Buckner, 80, of Center, passed away Monday, September 21, 2009 at his home. He was born April 30, 1929 in Center to Morgan Buckner and Beulah Potts Buckner. He served in the Army during the Korean war, and was a member of Spanns Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, September 22nd at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 23rd at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Carroll Jones & Bro. Don Noble officiating. Interment will follow at Spann's Chapel Cemetery in Center.
Pallbearers will be Rex Crenshaw, Steve Stanley, Jerry Conway, Steve Lovell, Jonathan Stone and Boo Klein.
Honorary Pallbearers James Enmon, Heath Hagler, J.C. Hanson, Bobbby Stanley, Charles James and Bob Donnell.
