James "Jimmy" Bradshaw , 80, of Center, passed away Monday, April 13, 2020, in Lufkin.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Born October 12, 1939, he was the son of the late Bascom Bradshaw and Sarah Victoria Taylor Bradshaw. He was a member of Short United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Myrline Bradshaw; daughter, Becky Jefferson; grandchildren, Justin and Christina Jefferson, Alysen Jefferson, and Trent Jefferson; brother-in-law, Vernon Askew of LaPorte; sister-in-law, Edna Hardy of Henderson; numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his son, Tommy Jefferson; parents; brother, Doc Bradshaw; sisters, Ercel Holcomb and husband Earnest, Grace Mills and husband Clyde, Polly Holliday, Opal Hughes and husband Tracy; brothers, Thomas Askew and wife Barbara, B.B. Askew and wife Eula; brothers-in-law, Travis Askew, J.E. Askew, and Walter "Jack" Askew; sisters-in-law, Erma Page, Lilly Stephens and husband W.O., and Macelle Askew; and in-laws, Buford and Lola Askew.
