Jack Bruce Brittain , 66, of Ft. Worth, passed away Friday, November 13, 2020, in Ft. Worth.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at Watson & Sons Chapel. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.
Born August 1, 1954, in Houston, Jack is the son of the late John Franklin Brittain Sr. and Ethel Mae Langston Brittain. He was an avid gun enthusiast and also enjoyed working on electronics and motorcycles. Jack was a member of Revival Tabernacle.
He is survived by his wife, Melinda Brittain of Ft. Worth; children, Bethany Brittain of Ft. Worth and Rachel Brittain of Ft. Worth; stepson, Benjamin Palmer of Arlington; grandchildren, Jaxon Brittain, Loyd Brittain, and Blake Palmer; brothers, John Franklin Brittain Jr. of Lufkin and Gary Lee Brittain and wife Diana of Nacogdoches; sister, Brenda Sowell and husband Marvin of Center; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Monica and Ricky Smith of Joaquin; mother-in-law, Shirley Jacks of Ft. Worth; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Preceded in death by his granddaughter, Alexis Brittain; parents, John Franklin Brittain Sr. and Ethel Mae Langston Brittain; brothers, Robert Brittain and James Brittain; and sister, Linda Brittain.
