Irene Strong Vaughn , 65, of Center, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2019, in Longview.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, April 13, 2019, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.  Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 14, 2019, at Watson & Sons Chapel with Travis Lee and Robert Strong officiating.  Interment will follow at Strong Cemetery in Huxley.

Mrs. Vaughn was born October 29, 1953, in Center, to Billy Strong and Margie Strong.  She worked at Walmart in Center, where she retired.  As a hobby, she enjoyed playing the piano.  Mrs. Strong was a loving mother, nanny, sister, and wife.  She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Glynn Vaughn; children, Travis Lee and wife Brandi, Michelle Clark, Thomas Lee and wife Michelle; grandchildren, Aubree Lee, Kandace Lee, Kameron Lee, Kaden Lee, Cheyennee Clark, Justin Clark, Zack Clark; great grandchild, Dixie Clark; brother, Bobby Strong and wife Rebecca; sister, Billie Bright; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Lee; parents, Billy Strong and Margie Strong.

Pallbearers will be Cheyennee Clark, Justin Clark, Zack Clark, Kameron Lee, Keith Clark, and Jacob Wheeler.  Honorary pallbearer will be Kaden Lee.
