Obituary

Hugh H. Fleming , 94, of Huxley, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014 in San Augustine.  He was born January 4, 1920 in Huxley to William Penn Fleming and Estelle Estes Fleming.  Mr. Fleming served in the United States Army during World War II.  He retired as a refinery operator for Union Oil in Nederland.  Mr. Fleming was a board member at First United Pentecostal Church in Center, where he was a faithful church member for over thirty years. He loved his church.  Mr. Fleming also enjoyed gardening, fishing, playing dominos and singing.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 11, 2014 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.  Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 12, 2014 at First United Pentecostal Church in Center with Bro. Bruce Kunkle and Bro. Edward McRae officiating.  Interment will follow at Strong Cemetery in Huxley.

Pallbearers will be Richard Tomlin, Brandon Penick, Mike Lengl, Jeff McDonald, Donnie Belrose and Wayne Hendricks.

He is survived by
Son: Jerry Fleming and wife, Tonhia of Huxley

Alanna Fleming of Dallas
Derrick Lightfoot and wife, Jacy of Center
Lance Lightfoot of Joaquin
