Hoyt Wayne Cox, 65, of Joaquin, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2010 at his home. He was born December 1, 1944 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Larry B. Cox and Viola McCormick Cox. Mr. Cox was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. He served in the U. S. Army.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, August 9, 2010 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Jeff Spring and Bro. Jeff Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at Johnson Cemetery in Joaquin.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Pierce, Zach Mason, Adam Mason, Rob Becks, James Leggett and Jerry Swift. Honorary pallbearer will be Cody Conley.
