Heverin Anne Kipp Goatcher , 79, of Center, passed away Monday, October 12, 2020, in Center.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 17, 2020, at First Baptist Church in Haslam with Bro. Jody Hooper officiating.

Born May 5, 1941, in St. Louis, MO, Mrs. Goatcher is the daughter of the late Fred Kipp and Beatrice Hawn Kipp. She taught recreational therapy at Angelina College. Her hobbies included arts, crafts, and fashion. Mrs. Goatcher was a member of First Baptist Church in Haslam.

She is survived by her son, Grant Reuben Goatcher of Carthage; brother, Paul Kipp and wife Karen of St. Louis, MO; nephew, Jason Kipp of St. Louis, MO; and niece, Erin Kipp of St. Louis, MO; numerous other relatives; and a host of friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ruben L. Goatcher; parents, Fred Kipp and Beatrice Hawn Kipp; and sister, Linda Kipp.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to the Salvation Army.
