Helen "Sandy" Heisel, 83, of Center, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2010 at Shelby Regional Medical Center. She was born July 24, 1927 in Thornton, Texas to Judge Ramsey and Cecil Webb Ramsey. Ms. Heisel was a member of First United Methodist Church of Center.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Monday, August 30, 2010 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm, Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Rev. Joel McMahon officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.

She is survived by:

Daughter, Cecilia Amaya & husband Meliton of Houston

Son, Stan Heisel & wife Jenny of Terrell

Brother, Bob Ramsey & wife Ethel of Mt. Belvieu

Grandchildren:
Chris Hall, Carle Scott Hall, Ben Heisel, Hillary Heisel, and Brittany Hollon
