Hazel Ritter Strickland , 82, of Joaquin, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015 at her residence.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Paul Silvey officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.

Ms. Strickland was born November 15, 1932 in Joaquin to Snap Ritter and Minnie Myrtle Scott Ritter. She loved baking bread and spending time with family and friends. Ms. Strickland was a member of First Baptist Church in Joaquin.
