Hazel "Sallie" McDaniel, 95, of Tenaha, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at her home. She was born September 22, 1912 in Shelby County to John Wilburn McDaniel and Lonie Etta Foster McDaniel. Ms. McDaniel was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tenaha, where she was very involved with First Baptist sewing ministry. She also taught children's Sunday School class there for over 20 years.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Thursday, April 17, 2008 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm, Friday, April 18 at the First Baptist Church of Tenaha with Bro. Russ Atwood and Bro. Bill Holmes officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Tenaha.

Pallbearers will be Don Dial, Ben Dial, Billy McDaniel, Chuck Roberson, Albert Burns and Bob Burns. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of the First Baptist Church of Tenaha.
