Harvey Hughes, 71, of Center, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at Shelby Regional Medical Center. He was born May 29, 1937 in Center to RC Hughes & Willie Eva Bolton Hughes. Harvey was of the Baptist faith.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Wednesday, July 2 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, July 3 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Don Windham officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Timpson.
