Harvey Bryan, 92, of Center, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 in Bossier City, Louisiana. He was born in Shelby County on August 29, 1919 to Benjamin F. Bryan and Linnie E. Cobb. Mr. Bryan served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a deacon at Center Missionary Baptist Church in Center. Mr. Bryan worked as a mechanic for S.L. Yearly and Toledo Machine Shop and also owned and operated a lawnmower repair shop for many years.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 11, 2011 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Pat Windham and Bro. Grant Barnett officiating. Interment will follow at Ramah Cemetery in Tenaha with Bro. Doug Stone presiding.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Windham, Jason Windham, Bryan Windham, Grant Barnett, Gavin Barnett, Micah Windham, Jerry Cockrell and Larry Cooper.
