His passion for learning and striving to
improve one's self filtered down, especially to his great-nieces and

Most of his life was spent in
Houston, where he was involved in real estate and other investments.
Besides his love for business, he enjoyed
spending time with his family on the tennis court, at the Houston rodeo or
sampling great restaurants.
Bub was a
member of the First United Methodist Church of Center.
He knew the greatest legacy he could leave
was his faith in God and relied upon Him to get him through the trials of his
life.
Bub's desire would be his passing
would be believed as a promotion and all would celebrate life and the time left
on this side of heaven would be filled with love, life, kindness, generosity,
and doing the right thing in all circumstances.
The family would
like to express their deepest thanks to Renee McGuire and Salvador Cruz for
their compassionate care and friendship.
