Grover Anthony, 78, of Center, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at Nacogdoches Medical Center. He was born in Center on July 3, 1933 to E.P. Anthony and Vada Bradshaw Anthony. Mr. Anthony served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Center.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Watson & Sons Chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Center.

Pallbearers will be Grover L. Anthony, Brandon M. Anthony, Christopher C. Anthony, Cameron M. Anthony, Ryan A. Hall, Doug Eaves Jr., Will Blackshear, Micah Oberg and Russell Sowell. Honorary pallbearers will be Bo Barbee, Steve Stevens, J.C. McSwain and Darren Vaughn.
