Glendon Marie Burnaman Warr, 62, of Joaquin, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at a Lufkin nursing home. She was born July 16, 1946 to Rufus Burnaman and Cloie Belle Denman Burnaman. Glendon was a faithful pastor's wife, mother and grandmother. She had had a leadership role in the Jackson Baptist Church Women's Missionary Auxiliary, and had even been a reporter for the Mt. Olive District W.M.A. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Joaquin.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, May 20th at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 21st at Watson & Sons Chapel with Rev. Paul Silvey officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Herman Cemetery in Shelby County.
