Glenda Fay Woods Wagstaff, 83, of Center, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2026, in Center.
Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Reynolds Cemetery in the Dreka Community of Shelby County with visitation beginning at 12:30 p.m. Her son, James Wagstaff, will officiate.
Glenda was born January 14, 1943, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born to William F. Woods and Margaret Rosabell Burnett-Jackson. She married James O’Neil Wagstaff (Troupie) on June 4, 1960. They had three children- James, Randle, and Bridgette. She loved working in the yard, growing flowers, and sitting on the porch drinking coffee while watching her animals and the birds. She was of the Baptist faith.
Glenda is survived by her husband, James O. Wagstaff of Center; sons, James Wagstaff and wife Charlotte of Lufkin and Randle Wagstaff of Nacogdoches; daughter, Bridgette Wagstaff of Center; grandson, Jordan Wagstaff and wife Lorena of Washington, D.C.; several sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews; and special friend, Judy Mathews.
Preceded in death by her parents, William F. Woods and Margaret Rosabell Burnett-Jackson; brother, Frederick Wayne Woods; and in-laws, Clarence and Aline Wagstaff.
Pallbearers will be Sonny Lowe, Kenneth Harris, Randle Wagstaff, Geroldo Cerrantis, Dave Hanhart, Georoni Angel, and Dakota Wagstaff.
