Glenda Kay Simmons, 64, of Center, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2026, in Jasper.

Her wishes were to be cremated, and no services are planned.

Born November 3, 1961, in Dallas, Glenda is the daughter of G.B. Williams and Lola Mae Robins Barnfield. A devoted mother, she dedicated her life to showing up for her children. Her favorite cartoon character was Tweety Bird.

She is survived by her children, Misty and husband Jeremy Fountain, Rebecca Mae and husband George Jenkins, Michael Dale Simmons and wife Sara Renae, and Christopher Dale Simmons and wife Angel; twenty-two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Jane and husband Robert Boren, Loyce Elaine and husband Ron Bellinger, and Helen and husband David Sanders.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Mark Allen Ray; parents, G.B. Williams and Lola Mae Robins Barnfield; sister, Linda Faye Cashion; brothers, Joel Eugene Marty, Albert Lee Barndfield, G.B. Williams Jr., and Oliver George Williams.
