Glenda Brown Hughes, 66, of Joaquin, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at her residence. She was born July 24, 1945 in Houston to Glynn E. Brown and Thelma Ponder Brown. She was a homemaker, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Hughes enjoyed cooking and spending time hunting and fishing with her late husband, Jackie. She was a member of Galena Park Order of the Eastern Star.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Watson & Sons Chapel. Interment will follow at Sardis Cemetery in Center.
