Glaydis Ramey Barton , 81, of Tenaha, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015 in Carthage, Texas.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 12, 2015 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Tenaha with Rev. Steve Lewis and Bro. Michael Tibbs officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Tenaha.

Ms. Barton was born June 7, 1933 in Tenaha to Alton and Ida Ross Ramey. She was a member, along with Pastor Cecil Chessher and his wife, Gina, and many special friends, of the Called Out Church in Center.
