Georgia Bloodgood, 80, of Center, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026, in Center.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 22, 2026, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Ozay Ford officiating. Interment will follow at Campti Cemetery in Center.

Born February 8, 1946, in Center, Georgia is the daughter of George Mitchell and Lela Hughes Mitchell. She loved painting, playing games, and playing dominoes. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her children, who were her life.

She is survived by her children, Charles Bloodgood and wife Denise; James Bloodgood; Steve Bloodgood and wife Lisa, and Sheila Fountain and partner Clay Sims; grandchildren, Sharon Bloodgood, Dustin and Cortni Bloodgood, Austin Bloodgood, Justin Bloodgood, Jacob Lang, Brittany Bloodgood, Naythen Bloodgood, Garrett Bloodgood, Bryce Bloodgood; great grandchildren, Jeremiah Bloodgood, Mason Bloodgood, Kyla Bloodgood, Carsan Holley, Evie Bloodgood, and Raiden Bloodgood; and special nephew, Mike Speedy.

Preceded in death by husband, Harold Bloodgood; parents, George Mitchell and Lela Hughes Mitchell; and sisters, Dixie Whiteside, Helen Southerland, and Louie Don Speedy.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Bloodgood, Jacob Lang, Austin Bloodgood, Naythen Bloodgood, Justin Bloodgood, Garrett Bloodgood, and Bryce Bloodgood.
