George E. LaBoyteaux went home to be with The Lord on July 9, 2017. He passed away at his home in Sulphur Springs, Texas, surrounded by family who loved him.

He was born on June 19, 1939, in New Castle, Indiana, to Mr. William and Myrtle LaBoyteaux. He was an ordained Minister and a well-loved member of The Lighthouse Church in Sulphur Springs.

Services to be held on July 13 with visitation from 12 noon until 1:30 and services following in the Chapel at Watson and Sons Funeral Home 1554 Hwy 7 East. Services officiated by Bro. Neal Cochran and Bro. Rudy Rodriguez.

He is survived by: his wife, Joyce Ray LaBoyteaux, daughters Deborah and husband Wayne Posey, Charlotte and husband Kevin Parent, son, William LaBoyteaux and wife Carrie, step children, Wanda and husband James, Terrie and husband Ronnie, Eddie and wife Olga, Michael and wife Carrie, his brother Bill and wife Wanda LaBoyteaux, sisters Terrie, Dixie, Linda and Marie, numerous grand and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by the mother of his children Mrs. Thelma LaBoyteaux, parents William and Myrtle, sister, Pat LaBoyteaux and two great-grandsons, Luke and Logan Morris.

Pallbearers are Wayne Posey, Daemeon Gerald, Jonathon Morris, Michael Kolbe, Sam Kolbe, Brack Davidson and Clint Sanchez.
