Gene Miller, 63, of Center, passed away Monday, September 8, 2008, at a Tyler hospital. He was born January 17, 1945 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Byron S. Miller and Helen Mae Williams Miller. Gene was a member of Sardis Missionary Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm, Wednesday, September 10 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Williams and Rev. Chuck Horton officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Cody Miller, Mark Austin Miller, Derek Miller, Jared Miller, Josh Miller & Bobby D. Watson. Honorary pallbearers will be Ty Miller and Lil Matt Miller.
