Freddy W. Barnett, 66, of Joaquin, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2012 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was born January 29, 1946 in DeBerry, Texas to John Calvin Barnett and Winnie Theo Barnett. Mr. Barnett served in the United States Army.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Adams Cemetery in Logan. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Adams Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Plunkett, Kenneth Nix, Durwood Russell, Louis DuPree and Rick Beasley. Honorary pallbearers will be Buddy Davis and Doyle Carroll.
