Obituary

Freddie Earl Pope , 55, of Center, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014 in Center.

Graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, November 14, 2014 at Blackjack Cemetery in Nacogdoches County with William Eddins and L.D. Eddins officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the graveside service, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Mr. Pope was born August 20, 1959 in Houston to John Pope and Jimmie Ruth Boyett Teague. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved tending to his horses and spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Pope was a member of Martinsville Church of Christ.

Pallbearers will be John Pope, Jeremy Pope, Josh Long, Randall Gilchrist, Adam Jernigan and Michael Bush. Honorary pallbearers will be Dawson Pope and Allan Mercer.
