Franklin May , 79, of Joaquin, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021, in Joaquin.

Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, February 6, 2021, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m.  Bro. Jody Hooper will officiate.

Franklin was born September 25 ^th , 1941, in Joaquin, TX, to Zan and Audie May.  His interests included farming, hunting, fishing, grilling, family, and telling stories.

He is survived by his spouse, Mary; sons, David (Deb) May, Josh Hankins, and Micah (Dionne) Hankins; grandchildren, Brooke May, Jaxson and Jonah Hankins; siblings, Reeta Frieze and Sammy (Martha) May; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents, Zan and Audie May; sisters, Billie Jean Lawhorne, Bobbie Pruitt, Ruby Seago, and Carolyn Wells; brothers, Asa May, Ray May, Roy May, and Jimmy May; and son, Donny May.
