Frances Nadine Hooper Cockrell, 93, of Joaquin, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2009 at Pine Grove Nursing Center. She was born January 24, 1916 in Panola County to Benjamin F. Hooper and Mary Nettie McGee Hooper. Ms. Cockrell retired from Rite Care in Logansport where she was a production worker. She was also a homemaker and Pastor's wife. Ms. Cockrell was a member of First Baptist Church in Joaquin.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, November 13, 2009 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, November 14, 2009 at First Baptist Church in Joaquin with Bro. Jody Hooper, Bro. Paul Silvey and Bro. Randy Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Joaquin Cemetery in Joaquin.

Pallbearers will be Ben Webster, James Wesley Suhr, Josh Webster, Joel Webster, Derek Groeling, Justin Webster, Larry Dyess and Steve Cockrell.
