Frances R. Glaze, 90, of Joaquin, went to be with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Sunday, May 24, 2009. She was born February 2, 1919 in Center, Texas

She married Melvin Lee "Bud" Glaze in 1935 and they enjoyed 60 years of marriage until his death in 1994.

Frances loved life, her husband, her son, two granddaughters, four great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Haslam, which she referred to as her church family. She was a blessing and inspiration to all who knew her.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Tuesday, May 26th at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 27th at Watson & Sons Chapel with Rev. Jody Hooper officiating. Interment will follow at Carroll Cemetery in Shelbyville.

Pallbearers will be Leon Horton, James Bass, J. D. Moore, Carroll Jernigan, David Shaw and Chrisco Bragg.
