Fern Hooper Davis , 89, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018, in Mt. Pleasant.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 19, 2018, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with Pastor James Hensley officiating. Interment will follow at Jackson Cemetery in Joaquin. Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Mrs. Davis was born September 9, 1928, in Joaquin, to William Forrest Hooper and Vergie Odell English Hooper. She lived in Longview until she retired and relocated to Linden and then to Mt. Pleasant for the last five years.
