Evie Lena Fletcher, 92, of Center, passed away March 25, 2012 at Nacogdoches Medical Center. She was born October 26, 1919 in Choice, Texas to William Henry Stanley and Mae Kennon Stanley. Mrs. Fletcher was a graduate of Center High School and Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches. She was a school teacher for many years. On November 27, 1940, Mrs. Fletcher married Sherman Hugh Fletcher, who preceded her in death in 2005. She was a member of the Hurst Street Church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and sewing.

Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Tim Perkins officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.
