Eugene Clifford Stolz , 83, of Shelbyville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, January 11, 2016, in San Augustine.

Visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 12, 2016, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with Rev. Carl Smith and Rev. Terry Goodnight officiating. Interment will follow at Wimberly Cemetery in Shelby County.

Mr. Stolz was born December 16, 1932, in Dallas, to Gus William Stolz Sr. and Lillie Bell Tate Stolz. He served in the United States Marine Corps. He was retired from General Electric, where he worked as an appliance technician. He also worked with Christian Builders. He attended Lone Star Baptist Church in Center.

Son: Larry Eugene Stolz of Dallas

Daughter: Sharon Ann Shaw and husband, Robbie, of Duncanville

Stepson: Billy Boyd and wife, Jillene, of Houma Louisiana

A number of Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren

Brother: John R. Stolz and wife, Nancy, of Garland

Linda Meredith and husband, Ronnie, of Mesquite
