Era Jo Ballard, 70, of Timpson, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2008 at Holiday Nursing Center. She was born January 29, 1938 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Howard Henry and Wera Christian Henry. Ms. Ballard was a member of the First Christian Church in Center. She was a 1956 Graduate of Center High School.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, April 19, 2008 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 19, 2008 at First Christian Church in Center with Rev. Steve Scott officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Henry, Terry Henry, Benny Baugh, Chuck Lunsford, Charlie Bussey, Joe Fomby and Luke Motley.
