Elaine Goodman Squyres , 89, of Nacogdoches, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2014 at her residence.  She was born July 11, 1924 in Melrose to Jim F. Goodman and Carrie Lee Ricks Goodman.  Ms. Squyres served in the United States Army during World War II.  She was a member of East Main Church of Christ in Nacogdoches.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with Bro. Ellis Reynolds officiating.  A military honors graveside service will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park under the direction of VFW Post #8904. A visitation will be held one hour prior to service time.

She is survived by
Daughter: Linda J. Fenton and husband, Jimmy of Nacogdoches

Daughter-in-law: Beth Finklea of Houston
