Earl Blackwell , 85, of Timpson, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2012 at Shelby Regional Medical Center. He was born April 20, 1927 in Lubbock County to John Raleigh Blackwell and Mary Louiza Dockery Blackwell.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 6, 2012 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. No funeral service is planned.
