Doug Carlton, 51, of Center, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at his home. He was born May 31, 1957 in Houston to Vernon Willis Carlton, Jr. and Carole Norton Carlton. Mr. Carlton was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lufkin.

At the families' request, Mr. Carlton has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 8th at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with Rev. Carl Smith officiating.
