Dorothy Anthony Denton, 89, of Center, passed away March 2, 2012 at Green Acres Nursing Home in Center. She was born June 5, 1922 in Shelby County to William Samuel Anthony and Kizzie Frances Baggett Anthony. Mrs. Denton was a member of the Old Orange Baptist Church in Orange, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, March 5, 2012 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Kerry Green and Bro. Ronnie Wheeler officiating. Interment will follow at Sardis Cemetery with Bro. Dale Pate officiating.
