Doroteo Leon Chaires , 79, of Center, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022, in Center.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 14, 2022, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.  Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Watson & Sons Chapel with Enrique Perez officiating.  Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.

Born February 6, 1943, in Neultra, Comonfort, GTO, Mexico, Doroteo is the son of Marcelina Chaires and Cirilo Leon.

He is survived by his children, Arturo Leon and wife Elvira, Cirilo Leon and wife Laura, Jorge Leon, and Blanca Bethel Leon; grandchildren, Israel, Eliezer, and Claudia Leon, Daniela and Mareli Leon; sisters, Reyna Morales de Leon and Rosario Ruiz; brothers, Jeronimo Leon and Pablo Leon; and numerous niece and nephews.

Preceded in death by wife, Herminia Sanchez; and parents, Marcelina Chaires and Cirilo Leon.
