Obituary

Doris L. Thompson , 70, of Center, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at Nacogdoches Medical Center in Nacogdoches.  She was born October 20, 1943 in Center to A. E. Wagstaff and Evie Lou Anthony Wagstaff.  Ms. Thompson was employed at Tyson Foods, where she worked as an accounting clerk. She was a member of New Hope Congregational Methodist Church.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, January 3, 2014 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.  Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Rev. Donald Weatherly officiating.  Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.
