Doretha L. Golding, 88, of Center, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023, in Center.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.  Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Tim Watson and Chad Lawson officiating. Interment will follow at Wimberly Cemetery in Huxley.

Born January 1, 1935, in Garrett's Bluff, Doretha is the daughter of Doyle Stewart and Velma Ingram Stewart.  She enjoyed painting and crocheting.  Doretha was a member of Order of Eastern Star Chapter #348 and First Baptist Church in Center.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy Glaze and husband Austin of Center; son, Robert Addison of Winnie; grandchildren, Austin J. Glaze Jr. of Bronson, Angela Armstrong and husband Michael of Bronson, Chris Addison of Beaumont; great granddaughter, Kailey Armstrong of Bronson; sisters, Shirley Brothers of Rosenburg, Naomi Spearman of San Antonio, Sandra Palmer of Nacogdoches, Pat Elizondo and husband Joe of San Antonio, Susan Golding of North Carolina, Debbie Lawson of Groves, and Carol Sonmor of Houston.

Preceded in death by husband, T.R. Golding; parents, Doyle Stewart and Velma Ingram Stewart; and brother, Buddy Stewart.

Pallbearers will be Austin Glaze Jr., Austin Glaze Sr., Michael Armstrong, Dylan Downs, and Bubba Lovett.
