Donnie Johnson , 72, of Joaquin, passed away Monday, November 23, 2020, in Joaquin.

Mr. Johnson's wishes were to be cremated and no services are planned.

Born August 16, 1948, in Crossett, Arkansas, Donnie is the son of the late Marvin Lovell Johnson and Jimmie Lou Henderson Johnson. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, guitar playing, and going to church. Donnie was a member of Logansport Missionary Baptist Church and also a masonic lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Johnson of Joaquin; children, Teresa Johnson of Mansfield, Louisiana, Donnie Mark Johnson of Mansfield, and Melanie Martin of Logansport, Louisiana; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Johnson; granddaughter, Gabriell Johnson; parents, Marvin Lovell Johnson and Jimmie Lou Henderson Johnson; and brothers, Jimmy Van Johnson, Henry Houston Johnson, and Randall Johnson.
