Derrick Pina, 17, of Center, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2010 at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler. He was born October 4, 1992 in Jacksonville to Jay Harvey and Pamela Simms.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Amelia Short officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Shelby County.

Pallbearers will be Keith D. Simms, Keith P. Simms, Dayrien Driver, Christopher Bell, Terrance Barnes, Row Simmons, Michael Harvey and Ricky Rios.
