Mrs. Dell Tamplin, 82, of Huxley, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012 in Port Arthur. She was born February 9, 1930 in Shelby County to Jerry Metcalf and Vera Windham Metcalf. She was a member of Lydia Missionary Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Rev. Gordon Vaughn and Rev. Wes Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Strong Cemetery in Huxley.

Pallbearers will be Ken Tamplin, Ron Tamplin, Greg Tamplin, Tommy Tamplin, Tanner Jorgensen and Jared Porter.
