Danny Garland Porter, 66, of Deadwood, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at his home. He was born April 21, 1944 in Center to Aaron Porter and Hersey Belrose Porter.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Thursday, May 6, 2010 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, May 7, 2010 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Mervin Scott officiating. Interment will follow at Deadwood Cemetery in Deadwood, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Clifton Porter, Jody Porter, Reese Smith, Chad Adams, James Cassell, Joel Graves, Shawn Harris and Johnny Metcalf.
