Danny Flournoy , 81, of Center, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at his residence.  He was born March 12, 1933 in DeQueen, Arkansas to William Clinton Flournoy and Dora Ethel Taylor Flournoy.  Mr. Flournoy served in the United States Army. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Shelbyville.

Graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, April 25, 2014 at Rather Cemetery in Shelbyville.  Visitation will be held prior to the service at Watson & Sons Chapel from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Anderson II, Jimmy Rhame, Steve Hix, Leonard Lopez, Kris Dockens and John Chisenhall.  Honorary pallbearers will be Douglas Flournoy and Pat Nichols.
