Danny Eugene Brooks , 57, of Carthage, passed away August 29, 2012 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born November 23, 1954 in Carthage, Texas to Eugene Brooks and Velda Jean Ramsey Brooks. Mr. Brooks was employed in the oil industry for over thirty years and also worked in the restaurant business in both Carthage and Center for many years. He loved hunting, fishing, barbequing, and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Tenaha.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Joe Walker officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Tenaha.

Pallbearers will be Kelly Brooks, Chris Harkness, Johnny Ramsey, Terry Ramsey, Brandon Gray, Robert Barton, Mike Ramsey and Ronny Ramsey.
